Koozie Group To Offer Responsibly Sourced GoGo by Shed Rain Umbrellas

Many of the brand’s products are made with 100% recycled plastics.

Top 40 supplier Koozie Group (asi/40480) is bringing a line of eco-conscious umbrellas to the promotional products industry.

The Clearwater, FL-based supplier announced a new partnership with GoGo by Shed Rain, a Portland, OR-based retail brand that has 75 years of expertise in the umbrella market. Koozie Group will be the exclusive supplier of GoGo umbrellas in the promo market.

The GoGo brand was created with responsible sourcing in mind, and many of its products are produced with 100% recycled plastics. All 12 GoGo umbrellas offered by Koozie Group will be made from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET), with the equivalent of six to eight water bottles worth of material used depending on the umbrella arc size. The umbrellas will also carry GoGo’s lifetime guarantee.

Koozie Group is now offering 12 styles from GoGo by Shed Rain, including this VORTEX vented auto-open golf umbrella (26311) made from rPET.

Koozie Group’s sister company, IMAGEN Brands (asi/93990), has been the exclusive promo supplier of the Shed Rain brand for several years and will continue to serve in that role. Jeff Blauer, president and CEO of Shed Rain, said his company is proud of the partnership between IMAGEN and his company.

“Now we are super excited to be introducing our new retail GoGo by Shed Rain umbrella line into the promotional products industry with Koozie Group as our partner,” Blauer added.

Every GoGo umbrella carried by Koozie Group will have: a spiral-textured handle that provides extra grip and includes Shed Rain branding; a woven handle strap; a woven tie strap with GoGo branding; a two-tone speckled finish on the handle core; and multilayered hangtags calling out information on the rPET content, instructions for use and the lifetime warranty.

Koozie Group is launching 12 umbrellas in its collection, including compact, stick and inverted models. Three versions of the VORTEX, which can withstand wind gusts of up to 75 mph, will also be offered.

Based on reported 2021 North American promotional product revenue of $300 million, Koozie Group ranked sixth on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry. Koozie Group has recently put a strong focus on sustainability, pledging in February that it would become carbon-neutral by the end of 2024 and noting in its most recent corporate social responsibility report that it offers more than 100 products made with recycled or renewable resources.
