The supplier had outgrown its name and the time had come for a change.

That’s what occurred with the former Orbus Exhibit & Display Group, newly renamed as Orbus Visual Communications (asi/75209).

Effective immediately, the new name articulates what executives described as Orbus’ expanded capabilities and offerings.

“The name change reflects our commitment to being at the forefront of this dynamic industry, providing clients with a wide range of innovative visual solutions to meet their communication needs,” said CEO Gary Keefer.

The company said the name change has no impact on operations or service levels, and that the new name represents a dedication to delivering visual solutions that encompass more than exhibits and displays.

“Orbus will continue to offer its renowned displays for promotions and events, and recent acquisitions (Fabric Images in 2020 and SEG Systems and Services in 2022) add retail and interior solutions,” the firm said. “Visual Communications encompasses this expansion and broadens to include exhibits, retail and interiors.”

In 2001, Simon Perutz, who passed away in April, established Orbus Exhibit & Display Group in the United States. Orbus is now a market leader in the U.S. and Canada when it comes to the manufacture and production of portable, modular and custom displays used in events, exhibits, retail and corporate interiors.
