The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall on Luxe Satin children’s robes. The robes fail to meet federal flammability standards for kids’ sleepwear and pose a risk of burn to wearers. No injuries have been reported, and no ASI-listed companies were named in the recall.

Imported and distributed by Little Giraffe of Van Nuys, CA, the robes retailed for about $100 at children’s specialty stores nationwide and online at www.littlegiraffe.com from November 2012 through March 2017. Manufactured in China, about 2,000 robes sold over the nearly five-year period.

According to the CPSC, the long-sleeve robes have a satin outer shell and 100% polyester microfiber inside. Featuring two belt loops and an unattached belt, the robes came in the colors of pink, blue and cream and the sizes of 1 (XS-S/4-6 years), 2 (MD-LG/6-8 years) and 3 (XL-XXL/8-10 years). Lot number “21706-DFR001” and “Not Intended for Sleepwear” are printed on the inside seam label.

“Consumers should immediately take the recalled robes away from children and contact Little Giraffe for a full refund,” the CPSC said in a statement.
