Cintas Announces Leadership Changes
Top 40 distributor Cintas (asi/162167) has announced that J. Phillip Holloman will retire from his positions of president and chief operating officer on July 31, 2018.
As a result, Cintas is reorganizing its executive team: Todd Schneider, president and COO of the rental division, will move to the newly created role of executive vice president and COO. Michael Thompson, current senior vice president and CIO, will become executive vice president and chief administrative officer. J. Michael Hansen, current senior vice president and CFO, will become executive vice president and retain his CFO position.
Holloman held a variety of positions in his 22 years at Cintas and was a founding member of the company’s Diversity Committee. During his tenure, Holloman received the internal Excalibur Award given to excellent executives along with numerous external awards including recognition on Black Enterprise Magazine’s 2009 list of the 100 Most Powerful Executives in Corporate America.
“I thank Phillip for the tremendous contributions he has made during his many years with Cintas,” Scott D. Farmer, chairman and CEO of Cintas, said in a press release. “Those of us who have had the privilege of working with Phillip know that Cintas is a better company because of him and he will be missed.”
In addition to his role at Cintas, Holloman is a member of the board of directors of Rockwell Automation and the Urban League of Cincinnati. He’s also on the business school advisory board for Florida A&M University and the business school and College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Cincinnati.
