Industry veteran Richard Frese, the Northeast regional sales manager at Ennis, Inc. (asi/52493), passed away on June 17. He suffered complications from surgery to continue his fight with a long-term illness.

Frese had been a member of Ennis’ national sales team for 16 years. He will be remembered for his competitive spirit, willingness to help anyone in need and the joy he found being with his family, said Terry Pennington, vice president of sales at Ennis.

“During his more than 42 years in the printing industry, Rich made an impression on many, many people,” Pennington said. “He thought of those he visited more as friends than customers and today we are sad as we process that we won’t get to visit with him anymore. No words can adequately express our sadness at Rich’s death or our thankfulness for the opportunity to work with and know him.”

Frese is survived by his wife and three children.
