Promo products industry veteran Jeffrey Brown has joined the board of directors of Top 40 distributor Geiger (asi/202900).

Brown spent 11 years at Top 40 supplier Polyconcept North America (PCNA, asi/78897) where he was chief marketing officer, then president of the firm’s hard goods division.

“Geiger is an enduring family business, which has thrived because of strong values and great leadership,” said Brown, who holds an MBA from Harvard University. “I look forward to helping guide Geiger in the years to come.”

Geiger Chairman Gene Geiger said the firm is excited to have Brown aboard.

“We feel very fortunate that Jeff has agreed to become a member of our board and our Geiger family,” Geiger said. “His industry experience and service on several family business boards is both deep and rare. As our firm expands to serve a global customer base, his insights and knowledge will be invaluable.”

With reported 2019 North American promotional product revenue of $236.3 million, Geiger ranked eighth on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry. The new list is due out in July.
