Michael Toney, a former regional sales manager at Ennis (asi/52493), died on February 19. He was 67.

Born in Charleston, WV, Toney graduated from Ohio University in 1971. After moving to California, Toney began working for Datagraphics and ultimately Printegra, which was acquired by Ennis in 2012. Toney remained with Ennis as a regional sales manager until November of 2016, capping a 30 year career in the print business.

“Michael was the type of salesperson that would go out of his way to help all of his customers which to him were really his friends,” said Terry Pennington, Ennis’ VP of sales. “The entire Ennis family extends their heartfelt condolences and sympathies to Michael’s family, friends and coworkers.”

Toney is survived by his mother Anne Laura Toney, wife Dolores, son Jonathan, daughter Jennifer Toney Beck, son-in-law Luke Beck and granddaughters Kensington Reign Beck and Mackinleigh Grace Beck, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, March 11, at COR Church in Irvine, CA. All are welcome to attend. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held immediately following the service.
