San Diego-based Custom Logos (asi/173183) has announced the acquisition of fellow San Diego-based distributor Amazing U Promotions. Margaret Riso, founder of Amazing U Promotions, is retiring to pursue other interests. As a result, she has entrusted Custom Logos to service her clients, the company said. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“With very similar business philosophies, we are confident in our ability to carry the torch and continue to provide Amazing U’s clients with outstanding branding solutions,” Custom Logos said in a press release.

This acquisition comes on the heels of Custom Logos acquiring another San Diego-based distributor – What’s New Promotions – in January. “Based on the acquisitions we have made this past year and those we have pending, Custom Logos should reach revenues of $20 million for 2019,” Jeff Golumbuk, CEO/founder of Custom Logos, said at the time.

Custom Logos generated $15.6 million in revenue for 2018, Golumbuk said. Founded in 1989, the company performs in-house screen-printing and embroidery at its facility in Kearny Mesa, located in the center of San Diego.

According to Riso’s LinkedIn page, Amazing U Promotions was founded in 2001. Prior to launching the company, she served as the vice president of sales and marketing of Standout Design Apparel Company.
