Team Phun (asi/342550) has announced that it is expanding operations and opening its second showroom in Charleston, SC. The current headquarters, located in San Diego, will continue in full operation, while founder and principal owner Jesse Goodwick will move to the East Coast to open the second location.

"We're breaking the mold of the industry,” Goodwick said in a press release. “People from corporate, lifestyle, hospitality and small business industries like working with us because we are PHUN and very knowledgeable about this business. Charleston is a great location for us because it’s like the East Coast San Diego, with an overwhelming amount of culture, food and beverage, hospitality and high-profile companies.”

Team Phun-Charleston is scheduled to be in full operation by May 15, 2019. The company says that current accounts in Charleston include Callie's Hot Little Biscuits and a partnership with PRIDE Charleston.

Goodwick started Team Phun out of his garage in 2010. He then met with Sean Burns, a former sales rep at Top 40 supplier alphabroder (asi/34063), who received his master’s in business from San Diego State University, and Jared Lazar, a local graphic artist with more than 15,000 Instagram followers. In 2015, the company took its next step in opening a brick-and-mortar storefront in San Diego’s popular La Jolla neighborhood.

Goodwick, Burns and Lazar were named to Counselor’s Hot List in 2017.
