Lewiston, ME-based Geiger (asi/202900), the eighth largest distributor by revenue in the North American promotional products industry, has acquired Fogelsville, PA-based distributor Five Thousand Forms (asi/194733), which does business as GiveMeFive.com. Financial terms of the deal, which was announced Tuesday March 16, were not released.

Going forward, Five Thousand Forms’ new name will be Give Me Five a Geiger Company. Herb Levy, a 55-year veteran of the promo industry, started Five Thousand Forms with Linda Levy in 1973. They, along several family members, built the business into one that has been both successful and known for focusing on community service, executives said.

Herb Levy and Five Thousand Forms’ associates will continue to support their current clients and community activities as a part of Geiger.

Give Me Five believes that Geiger’s technology offerings, along with its strength in corporate programs, will help the Pennsylvania-based distributorship prosper in an evolving marketplace.

The fact that Geiger is family-owned, just like Give Me Five has been, influenced the Levys to partner with the Top 40 firm.

Geiger said the acquisition is part of the company’s expansion strategy, which is focused on broadening its client base and services through channels that include acquiring like-minded, high-quality distributorships with similar values.
