NAJC Acquires Knobby Krafters
The deal involves two New England promo suppliers.
Massachusetts-based North Attleboro Jewelry Company (NAJC, asi/94245) has acquired fellow promotional product supplier Knobby Krafters Inc. Financial terms of the deal were not released.
Going forward, both companies will operate under the North Attleboro Jewelry Company name, according to NAJC Vice President Charlie Romero. The Knobby name will exist still, as its being applied to NAJC’s full line of plastic products.
“NAJC is adding the Knobby Line, which includes a wide variety of plastic pins and badges,” Romero said. “Knobby is now able to supplement its line with NAJC’s emblematic production capabilities.”
Operations will be centralized at NAJC’s headquarters. Romero said that Knobby’s Mary Jo Brunell and Bonny Wiegand will continue to manage relationships with Knobby clients. Knobby’s owners, brothers Nick and Dexter Nerney, have retired.
“Customers from both companies will continue to receive the same great service and now have a few more options when considering an emblematics project,” Romero said.
In business since 1939, NAJC is a family-owned and -operated emblematic jewelry manufacturer. The company specializes in both domestic and import production.
