ADM Endeavors’ Sales Rise 30% in 2021
The publicly traded company is the parent firm of Fort Worth, TX-area promo products distributor Just Right Products.
ADM Endeavors, Inc., parent company to promo products subsidiaries that include Fort Worth, TX-area distributor Just Right Products (asi/237879), engineered a 30% year-over-year sales increase in 2021.
In an annual financial report released the week of March 13, the publicly traded company stated that full-year revenue reached about $6.5 million. Net income tallied $737,348, a remarkable improvement over the $23,287 loss the company recorded in 2020 when fallout from COVID-19 severely depressed the promotional products marketplace. Operating income for 2021 was $715,000.
“We finished 2021 with a strong balance sheet to support our business plan moving forward, and the investments we made over the last year, including having a good amount of inventory, allow us to better serve our customers with product availability and quick service,” said CEO Marc Johnson.
Looking ahead, ADM plans to build a new headquarters with a warehouse that will be 80,000 to 100,000 square feet. The company is also focused on strategic acquisitions, including buying a sign shop that will allow “us to bring production in-house and increase margins and customer base,” said Johnson.
ADM’s flagship subsidiary Just Right Products, Inc. operates what the company describes as a diverse vertically integrated business model that consists of a retail sales division, screen-print production, embroidery production, digital production, import wholesale sourcing and uniforms.
Schools/education is an important market for ADM, which generated $1.41 million of its total 2021 revenue from school uniform sales. The remaining revenue came from promo products-related sales.
“While every part of our operations is important, the entire team at ADM takes great pride ensuring students got what they need when they needed it from us during a very challenging year,” said Johnson, referencing supply chain challenges that beset the entire promo industry.
ADM’s 30% annual sales growth outpaced the industry average for 2021. Last year, distributors collectively increased sales 12%, bringing industry revenue to $23.2 billion, the most recent ASI Distributor Quarterly Sales Survey shows.
Word on ADM’s performance comes amid a recent flurry of earnings reports for publicly traded promo companies. 4imprint (asi/197045), the third-largest distributor in the industry, reported on March 16 that its sales rose 41% in 2021. Top 40 distributor BAMKO (asi/131431) reported that sales were up 7% last year.
