PSI Düsseldorf 2022 Canceled, Will Return January 2023
Europe’s largest promotional products trade show won’t take place in April due to what organizers call a “generally restrained business attitude.”
PSI Düsseldorf, Europe’s largest promotional products trade show, has been canceled for 2022. The show was originally scheduled for January, then postponed to April due to COVID concerns, but show organizer RX Austria & Germany cites the high share of international visitors and the industry’s “generally restrained business attitude” in the decision to cancel this year’s show. The next PSI show will take place Jan. 10 to 12, 2023.
“In the current situation, enabling a successful event for our exhibitors is especially important to us,” said Petra Lassahn, the director of PSI. “And considering how important it is to secure the presence of a full lineup of national and international brands along with visitors from around the world, we are unable to do that at this time.”
Lassahn added that she expects the show to live up to its reputation as “one of the most important industry trade shows worldwide” when it returns at the beginning of 2023.
The decision to cancel this year’s show was made in collaboration with exhibitors and partners. “Our main concern is to support the players in the promotional products industry, using any means at our disposal, as they set out to generate business again, strengthen their networks and stay in touch with each other – nationally as well as internationally,” Lassahn said.

In 2021, PSI was held digitally in May, bringing together roughly 3,500 advertising professionals from nearly 70 countries to tune into 20 hours of live videos and see products from around 120 exhibiting companies.
