SanMar Announces New Lifestyle Collection of Clothes & Bags

Promo’s largest supplier emphasized the versatility and on-trend styling and fits of Mercer+Mettle.

The largest supplier in the promotional products industry has launched a new lifestyle apparel collection.

SanMar (asi/84863) says Mercer+Mettle is a 30-piece line that consists of 25 clothing styles and five bag designs. Offering what the Issaquah, WA-headquartered company described as fashion-forward style with durability and a “trend-right” fit, the collection aims to meet the growing demand for apparel and accessories that can transition between professional and casual looks.

“Customers are increasingly gravitating to signature pieces that speak to functionality and versatility,” said Shelley Renning, vice president of merchandising at SanMar. “Reinterpreted classic silhouettes give consumers the ability to mix and match what they wear and how they wear it to convey their own personal sense of style and individuality.”

Renning said the men’s fits in Mercer+Mettle are “softly tailored and made for hybrid working.” Women’s styles are relaxed, emphasizing drape and layering versatility. The bags maintain a similar aesthetic to the clothes, featuring functional accessories.

With reported 2020 North American promo product revenue of $2.3 billion, SanMar ranked first on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
