Outdoor Cap’s JUNK Brands Names New President
Craig Mahan is now in the leadership role at the company that’s part of the Top 40 supplier.
Craig Mahan is keen to accelerate success at JUNK Brands.
Now, he’s going to have the chance.
Mahan has been appointed president of the Bentonville, AR-based company, which is part of Top 40 promotional products supplier Outdoor Cap Company (asi/75420).
Mahan is no stranger to JUNK Brands or Outdoor Cap. He had been serving as interim president of JUNK for three months before being named to the role permanently. Overall, he’s been with Outdoor Cap for nearly seven years, rising from inside sales associate to, most recently before the JUNK interim role, head of strategic development.
“Craig has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and innovative thinking during his time at Outdoor Cap,” said Jeanelle Harris, CEO of the Top 40 firm. “He approaches every challenge with a strategic mindset and a focus on finding solutions. I look forward to the future of JUNK Brands under Craig’s leadership.”
Mahan holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration/accounting and an MBA from the University of Arkansas. His immediate goals for JUNK include increasing brand awareness, growing the customer base, and deepening strategic partnerships. Culture is also sharply in Mahan’s focus, as he’ll look to foster an environment that prioritizes innovation, teamwork and customer experience.

Founded in 2011, JUNK Brands offers apparel accessories, and is especially known for its sublimated performance headbands. The company prints and sews its headbands in Bentonville, AR, from imported performance materials.
Outdoor Cap Company debuted on Counselor’s Top 40 supplier list in 2022, ranking 28th based on reported 2021 North American promotional product revenue of $51.2 million.
