Sock101 (asi/88071) has just added a promo products pro with experience at Top 40 firms to its C-Suite.

The Lee’s Summit, MO-based supplier has named Sarah Goshgarian Unruh to the role of chief rainmaker/chief revenue officer.

In her role, Unruh will spearhead scaling and driving growth by reshaping Sock101’s go-to-market strategy and developing a future workforce to capture both organic and net new business on a national level, the company said. 

Furthermore, she will commercialize the business and accelerate growth by driving integration with marketing and enhancing the core competencies of the existing sales force.

“We are very excited to have Sarah joining the Sock 101 team,” said Owner Kelly Yarborough. “She is very knowledgeable and will help to bring our company to new heights and reach company goals.” 

A former educator, Unruh started in the promo products market as a distributor in 2008.

During her time in the industry, she went on to be a global account manager at Top 40 distributor Proforma (asi/300094) and, later, vice president of sales at Top 40 supplier Logomark (asi/67866). Unruh was most recently vice president of business development at industry firm Order My Gear (OMG). She currently serves on the board of Promotional Products Association Southwest (PPAS) and is an active member of CHIEF.
