Swish! iPROMOTEu Invites Industry To Compete in DunkFest 2023

The Top 40 distributor has hosted the contest tied to the annual NCAA basketball tournament since 2008.

The Wayland, MA-headquartered firm is once again inviting anyone who works in the promotional products industry to participate in its annual DunkFest competition.

Conceived as an initiative for fostering fun, relationship-building and friendly competition in the promo industry, DunkFest is a bracket-style challenge based on the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s annual showpiece March basketball tournament – colloquially referred to as “March Madness.”

“I’m a huge sports fan, and I love this tournament,” said Ross Silverstein, president/CEO of iPROMOTEu and a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people. “It brings together the enjoyment of sports, school spirit and fun competition among friends and colleagues.”

DunkFest 2023 is open to everyone in the promo products industry working as or for a distributor, supplier or service provider. This includes distributor salespeople, supplier salespeople and multi-line reps. Participants with the highest scores at the end of the tournament challenge will receive awards and special recognition, iPROMOTEu said.

iPROMOTEu began DunkFest in 2008, and hundreds of promo pros participate annually. To take part, you must have an active ESPN account (it’s easy to sign up if you don’t). Accounts are free and each individual can register, fill out a bracket and make changes any time before the tournament begins at noon on Thursday, March 16.

Based on reported 2021 North American promotional product revenue of $180 million, iPROMOTEu ranked 13th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry.
