Crystal D Names Sales VP & Hires Its First Wholesale Brand Manager
The supplier of corporate awards and gifts is also onboarding two additional professionals to support marketing and communication efforts.
Crystal D (asi/47759) has hired a vice president of sales and brought aboard three additional pros to help drive marketing efforts, including the firm’s first-ever wholesale brand manager.
The Saint Paul, MN-based supplier of corporate awards and gifts has tapped Christian Jewel for the VP role. He’ll oversee inside and outside sales.
While new to promo, Jewel has over 20 years of sales management experience, Crystal D said. He spent the majority of his career working in technology-related sales, including as a district manager for Verizon and a manager at Apple.
“As we expand our business, we are thrilled to add so many talented professionals who share our vision and our commitment to excellence,” said Bridget Dahlgren, executive vice president of marketing and retail sales at Crystal D, which has been in business for more than 30 years.
Other hires are:
Joshua Gerads, wholesale brand manager – Responsibilities will center on marketing strategy and activation across multiple brands. Gerads previously spent over a decade in digital marketing for MetLife. “He is an expert at scaling strategies to work with small- and medium-size businesses,” Crystal D said.
Natalie Albers, communications manager – Albers will develop Crystal D’s brand messaging and content strategy, building awareness about the company and sharing the latest trends with industry stakeholders and partners. “She has spent more than two decades supporting communications for major corporations and small businesses” including Best Buy, Crystal D said.
Danielle Dahlke, marketing coordinator – Dahlke will handle trade show coordination, social media content strategy and email marketing campaigns. She brings to Crystal D five years of marketing experience, including expertise in social media and a background in graphic design and interactive media, according to Crystal D.
