Logomark Launches Recycled Polyester Table Covers
The Top 40 supplier says it will be adding more sustainable options to its DisplaySplash line later in the year.
Want to offer clients a more sustainable way to get their message across at trade shows and events? Top 40 supplier Logomark (asi/67866) has it covered.
The Tustin, CA-based company has launched the first of its DisplaySplash products under its Eco-Lifestyle product line, offering table covers made from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET). The 180-gram elastic polyester material of the table covers is derived from recycled plastic water bottles. Logomark’s DisplaySplash product line encompasses a range of full-printed products, including table flags, banners, feather flags and tents, but the table covers are the first it will be making from rPET.
“We are thrilled to introduce the Eco-Lifestyle DisplaySplash line as a sustainable solution for businesses looking to have a positive impact on the environment,” said Maggie Wheeler, senior vice president of new product development at Logomark. “With an increasing focus on sustainability, our rPET table covers offer a compelling way for brands to elevate their marketing efforts while demonstrating their commitment to eco-conscious practices.”
The initial launch includes open- and closed-back stretch table covers in 4-foot, 6-foot and 8-foot sizes. The covers feature vibrant full-color dye sublimation decoration. They’re treated with fire retardant and are also machine washable. Logomark said it plans to expand its Eco-Lifestyle Display Splash offering to include flags and tents later this year.
Trade show signage and display material made from recycled and sustainable materials has been growing in significance in recent years, particularly as conference organizers begin to reckon with the waste their events generate. Though this can lead to hard-line anti-swag policies, there are also opportunities for distributors to help improve the situation.
Last year, for example, DGW Branded (asi/222095), the merch division of Certified B Corp Doing Good Works, partnered with sustainability consultants and fellow B Corp Verdical Group to help provide eco-friendly signage, lanyards and swag for the Net Zero conference in Los Angeles. That included table throws and backdrops made from recycled polyester, as well as chairs and a coffee table made of recycled corrugate from cardboard-furniture maker Chairigami.
Founded in 1993, Logomark provides more than 3,000 products in diverse categories. Based on reported 2022 North American promotional product revenue of $115.4 million, Logomark ranked 14th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry. Logomark also has a focus on corporate social responsibility, earning a silver rating from sustainability assessment firm EcoVadis in 2022 and 2023.
