The Bright Side: Koozie Group Donation Benefits Service Dog Nonprofit
The Top 40 supplier gave nearly $27,000 to support 4 Paws for Ability.
Since 1998, 4 Paws for Ability has placed more than 1,500 highly specialized service dogs with people in need – an effort that has helped U.S. military veterans, children and individuals with autism, diabetes, epilepsy and mobility issues.
It’s a mission Top 40 supplier Koozie Group (asi/40480) felt compelled to support. And that’s just what the Clearwater, FL-based promotional products company has done, recently donating $26,667 to the Ohio-headquartered nonprofit organization.
Koozie Group raised the money through its 2023 plush toy giveback program, which earmarked 1% of plush sales referencing a specific code for donations to 4 Paws for Ability. The backing assisted in the sponsoring and naming of a newborn litter of puppies that are currently being trained to become service dogs.
“We are so proud to support amazing organizations like 4 Paws for Ability,” said Melissa Ralston, Koozie Group chief revenue officer and a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people.

In 2022, Koozie Group said it donated more than $17,000 to 4 Paws for Ability. Former Top 40 supplier IMAGEN Brands, which Koozie Group acquired in 2020, began the do-gooding initiative that supports the nonprofit. IMAGEN was recently fully integrated into Koozie Group.

KaLynn Clark, development director at 4 Paws for Ability, shared that the organization raises, trains and places more than 100 task-trained service dogs every year.
“These life-changing placements would not be possible without partners like Koozie Group,” Clark said. “Thank you, Koozie Group, for your support, which will help children and veterans receive their much-needed service dogs.”
Koozie Group plans to continue supporting 4 Paws for Ability in 2024.
Based on reported 2022 North American promotional products industry revenue of $317 million, Koozie Group ranked seventh on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
