The Philadelphia Area Promotional Products Association (PAPPA) announced that former executive director Jim Harmon passed away unexpectedly on May 23. He was 73.

A lifetime member of PAPPA, Harmon was a constant presence on the organization’s various committees and at PAPPA events. Most recently, he was a table games dealer at Delaware Park Racetrack in Wilmington, DE. “Jim’s kindness and genuine thoughtfulness made him an extraordinary colleague and friend to everyone he met,” said PAPPA, in an official statement. “We extend the deepest heartfelt condolences to his family during this most difficult time.”

Harmon is survived by his wife Joyce; daughter Beth Ford (John) and son Scott Harmon (Elizabeth); grandchildren Avery Harmon, Bryan Ford and Lauren Ford; great-grandchildren Conor and Emilia; brother Jack Harmon (Mary) and sister Janet Cannon.

A viewing will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, May 27 at Downingtown United Methodist Church at 751 East Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, with funeral services immediately following.
