Charles River Apparel Promotes Jason Lipsett

The son of CEO and owner Barry Lipsett is now director of marketing operations.

Top 40 supplier Charles River Apparel (asi/44620) has announced the promotion of Jason Lipsett to director of marketing operations.

In his new role, Jason will be the central manager for the marketing department, supporting the vice president of marketing, while overseeing the Sharon, MA-based firm’s digital marketing team and developing long-term plans for the brand and organization.

Jason is the son of CEO and owner Barry Lipsett, representing the third generation of the Lipsett family at Charles River Apparel. Jason joined the company in 2013 shortly after graduating magna cum laude at Bentley University, where he studied business management. After four years with the company, in the fall of 2017, Jason transitioned out of his role to pursue his MBA at Boston College, where he will be graduating this year with high distinction.

“The knowledge Jason has gained while working towards his masters and building on his previous experience with Charles River is exactly what we need to grow and push our brand forward,” Tracy Lehnen, vice president of marketing, said in a press release.

With reported 2017 North American promotional product revenue of $45 million, Charles River Apparel ranked 37th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
