EMT Raises $1,400 for The National Kidney Foundation
Funds were raised as part of the company’s PROMO AF campaign.
EMT (asi/52263) has announced that its PROMO AF campaign raised $1,400 in proceeds for The National Kidney Foundation. Funds were raised through the sale of swag boxes containing PROMO AF hats, patches and phone loops, along with a matching donation from EMT.
“We are overjoyed that we were able to harness the power of promo to raise awareness and funds for this great organization,” Phil Saks, president of EMT, said in a press release. “It’s a testament to the generosity of our industry and demonstrates another way promotional products work.”
Initially launched in January, the PROMO AF campaign went viral on industry social media.

In response to the overwhelming demand, the Indianapolis-based supplier created the swag boxes to tap enthusiasm for a good cause. The campaign was also created to honor EMT founder Steve Weinstein, who passed away in 2017 from a kidney-related illness.
“I think the reason PROMO AF resonated so well is because it celebrates the hustle of our entire industry,” said Brian Stidham, director of business development at EMT. “Distributors, suppliers, decorators – we all work tirelessly every day to deliver results for our customers. PROMO AF is recognition of that.”
The National Kidney Foundation is the leading organization in the U.S. dedicated to the awareness, prevention and treatment of kidney disease. More information about the organization may be found at www.kidney.org.
