Liz Haesler Is PCNA’s New Global Chief Merchandising Officer
Haesler comes to the Top 40 promotional products supplier with a wealth of experience.
An experienced executive who has held leadership roles at Staples, Inc., Dick’s Sporting Goods and Best Buy is the new global chief merchandising officer at Top 40 supplier Polyconcept North America (PCNA).
New Kensington, PA-headquartered PCNA said Monday that Liz Haesler will lead product and category strategy for Polyconcept’s hard goods division, which includes the Leed’s (asi/66887), Bullet (asi/42424) and Journalbooks (asi/91340) brands.

As CMO, much will fall under Haesler’s purview. She’ll be responsible for planning and implementing effective practices for product development, category management, pricing, sourcing, supply chain and inventory strategy. She’ll also oversee the execution of PCNA’s global product development initiatives with PF Concept -- Polyconcept’s European operation.
For nearly a year, Haesler has operated a consulting business based out of the greater Minneapolis, MN area. Prior to that, she served as senior vice president of apparel, footwear and accessories at Dick’s Sporting Goods from October 2016 to July 2018, her LinkedIn profile indicates.
Additionally, Haesler’s resume includes five years as vice president/global merchant and supplier chain leader at Best Buy. She was also a senior vice president at Staples, Inc., where she was selected to lead the corporation’s office supply business, covering retail, online and contract channels.
With reported 2017 North American promotional product revenue of $606.3 million, PCNA ranked third on Counselor’s latest list of the largest suppliers in the industry. The new list is due out in July.
