Tekweld’s (asi/90807) footprint just got bigger.

The Top 40 promo products supplier announced this week that it has leased a 104,000-square-foot industrial building to further advance its operations.

Located in Hauppauge, NY, the facility is a stone’s throw from the supplier’s headquarters. Executives noted that Tekweld could consolidate operations from another facility it has in Farmingdale to the newly leased building.

There are logistical advantages to the new facility, executives said.

“The new facility is highly functional, with considerable ‘high cube’ storage capabilities and a multitude of truck docks, and it’s located just seconds from Long Island’s highly desirable main trucking access route, the Long Island Expressway,” said Jeff Schwartzberg, a real estate professional with Premier Commercial Real Estate, who represented Tekweld on the lease deal.

Tekweld offers a broad array of products, from bags and drinkware to lip balm, hand sanitizer and much more. Products include union-printed Made-in-the-USA items.

With reported 2020 North American promotional product revenue of $45 million, Tekweld ranked 31^st on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry. Counselor’s 2022 Top 40 list will be revealed this July.
