Geiger Promotes David Geiger to VP, General Counsel
A fifth-generation member of the Geiger family that has always owned the 145-year-old Top 40 distributorship, David has been with the company since 2007.
The tradition of family leadership is continuing at Geiger (asi/202900).
The Top 40 distributorship has promoted David Geiger to vice president and general counsel.
A fifth-generation member of the Geiger family that has always owned the 145-year-old firm, David previously served as general counsel.
In his new position, David will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters for the global organization, including mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, licensing, and risk management.
In addition, he will oversee Geiger’s efforts on sustainability and social responsibility. He will also continue to serve as a key member of Geiger’s executive team and board of directors.

David began work in the family company in 2007 in manufacturing engineering services and later served as compliance manager. He graduated from the University of Maine School of Law and received his B.S. in Business Management from the University of Southern California.

Based on reported 2021 North American promotional product revenue of $243.7 million, Geiger ranked 9th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry.
