She had joined the Missouri-headquartered firm in 2017 as national sales manager and excelled, a performance that fueled promotions to director of sales and then, in 2021, vice president of sales.

More success propelled Schettler into the senior VP role. She’ll continue reporting to CEO Mark Gammon.

“Under Grace’s leadership, the Cap America sales team has witnessed exponential growth,” Gammon said. “It is no coincidence that the company itself has experienced several record-breaking years during her tenure. Her drive and dedication to continuing to grow and expand the Cap America brand are unparalleled.”

Gammon noted that Schettler’s accomplishments include playing a vital role in implementing Cap America’s sporting goods division and launching its CA Premium Line.

As a sales VP, Schettler was responsible for establishing and developing territories, analyzing market statistics, and evaluating the Cap America sales division. As senior vice president of sales, Schettler will continue to work alongside Cap America leadership to develop and enact strategies that accelerate growth, executives said.

Prior to joining Cap America, Schettler worked for nearly nine years at supplier Boxercraft (asi/41325). There, the graduate of Middle Tennessee State University held roles that included key account manager and national sales manager.

Founded in 1985, Cap America specializes in headwear, providing in-stock, custom overseas and USA-made products. The firm reported 2021 North American promotional product revenue of $48.7 million, good enough to rank 31st on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry. The new rankings debut this summer.
