ScreenBroidery Promotes Alec Witham to Director of Creative & Marketing
The promotion comes as Witham played a key part in helping the distributorship again rank as one of the Indianapolis area’s fastest-growing companies.
ScreenBroidery (asi/305623) was again named one of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the Indianapolis area – and Alec Witham played an important role in propelling that rise.
For that and more, Witham just earned a promotion to director of creative and marketing at the Noblesville, IN-based company, an approximately $9 million promotional products distributorship that serves blue-chip clients like Jim Beam and software maker Seismic.
In the director role, Witham will lead the creative and marketing teams, build brand awareness for ScreenBroidery and increase customer engagement.
“We are thrilled to have Alec leading our creative and marketing teams,” said Gabe Peters, chief operating officer of ScreenBroidery. “He has a proven track record of delivering results and his passion for creating innovative marketing campaigns is contagious. We are confident that Alec will continue to drive our brand forward and help us achieve our business goals.”
Witham graduated from Ball State University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in design and visual communications. He joined ScreenBroidery the same year as a graphic designer.
Witham spent about six years with ScreenBroidery before working as associate creative director at Great States Corp., which does business as the American Lawn Mower Co. He returned to ScreenBroidery last year. He said mentorship from Peters, ScreenBroidery CEO Tom Rector, and Chief Sales Officer Mark Myers have been essential to his development.
“I feel deeply honored to have been selected for this position and am genuinely excited to lead our incredibly talented creative and marketing teams,” Witham said. “Together, we will continue to create campaigns that resonate with our customers and drive growth for the company.”
The Indianapolis Business Journal just named ScreenBroidery to its Fast 25, a ranking of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the Indianapolis area. ScreenBroidery earned the honor based on 140% revenue growth from 2020 through 2022. Rector said that on a cash basis – what ScreenBroidery collected in 2022 – revenue was $8.32 million. The firm invoiced $9.1 million in the calendar year, he said.
ScreenBroidery also made IBJ’s Fast 25 in 2022. The distributorship has previously appeared on Counselor’s list of the Best Places to Work in the promotional products industry.
