Proforma Announces Record Sales Month

Top 40 distributor Proforma has announced record revenue results for the month of October.

Top 40 distributor Proforma (asi/300094) has announced record revenue results for the month of October. The company said it recorded sales of $40 million last month, which was the highest monthly result in its history and was an increase of 11% over the same time period last year. Through the first 10 months of 2014, Proforma says its sales have increased 13% over last year.

“Our focus is on helping our owners earn new business through winning enterprise level accounts, adding experienced sales representatives to their teams and pursuing acquisitions,” said Greg Muzzillo, founder of Proforma. “We are committed to helping every member of the Proforma family achieve their dreams by putting them in the best situation to win new opportunities. Right now we have more than $900 million in opportunities in our active pipeline that we are working with our owners and sales reps to close.”

The company’s growth this year has largely been driven by acquisitions, as Proforma has helped its owners close $12 million worth of transactions. The company most recently worked with one of its Ohio-based owners, Proforma Graphic Services, to acquire fellow Ohio distributor Premier Graphic Solutions (asi/298484). When the deal was announced two weeks ago, Jeff Skinner, co-owner of Proforma Graphic Services, said, “Now we are going into 2015 poised to experience multi-million dollar growth.”

Proforma also said that its revenue increases this year were the result of 14 new enterprise-level accounts that total more than $1 million in revenue apiece. The company’s growth helped to place 15 of its owners on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.

Overall, Proforma ranks as the second-largest distributor in the industry, after reporting 2013 North American ad specialty sales of $348 million, an increase of 7.9% over 2012.
