The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued official recalls for children’s sleepwear from Dondolo of Carrollton, TX, and Little Mass of Los Angeles. The recalled apparel from both companies fails to meet federal flammability standards, posing a risk of burn injuries.

The non-compliant garments from Dondolo include Colombian-made 100% cotton woven nightgowns and two-piece pajama sets comprised of long-sleeve tops and pants. The nightgowns have a Peter Pan collar with a red-and-white gingham trim and six plastic buttons on the back. The sets have five plastic buttons on the center-front of the top and two pockets near the waist. They were sold in striped light blue, striped navy, striped red, striped pink, and lavender, and in sizes 12 to 24 months, 2T to 4T, and 5 to 10 years.

About 3,100 of both the nightgowns and sets were sold at children’s boutique stores nationwide and at www.dondolo.com from November 2014 through October 2017. Prices ranged from $15 to $50.

The recalled apparel from Little Mass includes varying styles of nightgowns and two-piece pajama sets sold in sizes 7 through 14 with style numbers T927S, T933, T935, T935S, T949, T952S or T953 printed on a sewn-in side-seam label. An estimated 2,300 of the USA-made garments were sold at Nordstrom and children’s boutiques nationwide, as well as at www.littlemass.com from July 2016 through October 2017. Prices ranged from $27 to $42.

As of this writing, no injuries have been reported and no ASI-listed companies were named in the recalls.

The CPSC advises consumers to take the recalled garments away from children immediately and to contact the respective companies. Dondolo is offering gift cards for the full purchase price for use at www.dondolo.com. Little Mass is extending full refunds.
