Money and donated items were collected throughout the month of October, which is also recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

“We are so incredibly grateful for this donation,” said Jenna Kettner, crime victim advocate at Someplace Safe. “We have loved working with ASB and hope to continue the relationship for years to come.”

Someplace Safe was incorporated in 1979 and offers a variety of services to victims and survivors of crime, families and communities in central Minnesota. According to its website, the agency provides services to more than 4,000 local victims and survivors of crime each year, including victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and exploitation, and human trafficking. Someplace Safe serves families through its parenting time centers, with services that include safe exchanges, supervised parenting time, phone calls and Skype, contact exchanges and scheduling.

“Domestic Violence Awareness Month was the perfect opportunity to give to this organization,” said Larry Zavadil, ASB founder and CEO. “We take the time to remember those we’ve lost to domestic violence and hope this donation will help those fighting to get out of those relationships.”

In addition to the money raised, ASB donated six boxes of items, which were filled with various gift cards, baby items, cleaning products and birthday party supplies.

With reported North American promotional products revenue of $244.3 million, ASB ranked eighth on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry.
