SnugZ USA Appoints Kevin Mullaney to National Sales Role

Mullaney is an award-winning industry veteran who previously worked for a Virginia-based distributor.

Kevin Mullaney’s selling skills on the distributor side of the promotional products market have earned him industry-wide accolades over the years.

Now, the promo veteran is bringing his business-building acumen to the supplier side, joining Top 40 firm SnugZ USA (asi/88060) as a national sales manager. SnugZ’s other sales leaders remain in place, with Mullaney joining up as part of the team, executives said.

“Kevin embodies all of SnugZ’s values: Care passionately, work like crazy, think big and do what’s right,” said Brandon Brown, the West Jordan, UT-based supplier’s vice president of marketing. “This position will add to an already strong and dedicated sales team to provide sustained success and innovation moving forward.”

Mullaney made a name for himself in the industry during his 12 years with Virginia-based distributor Brandito (asi/325944), where he was most recently a vice president/partner.

While at Brandito, Mullaney was recognized by ASI Media as a Distributor Salesperson of the Year finalist in 2018, a PPB Rising Star in 2016, and a Virginia Promotional Products Association (VAPPA) Distributor Sales Rep of the Year in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

In 2023, Mullaney won the Randy Shippam Award, an honor bestowed by promotional products software provider/partnering community Facilisgroup to an industry person who embodies Shippam’s spirit and passion for the industry.

Also an active volunteer, Mullaney served as a VAPPA board member from 2019 to 2022 and has been a “big buddy” at Comfort Zone Camp, a nonprofit that helps children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver.

“I’m super excited to join the SnugZ team because of the culture they have created,” Mullaney told ASI Media. “The interview process felt like a family reunion.”

Mullaney described SnugZ USA as a company with a conscience – one that cares about doing right and supporting worthy causes, something evidenced by the firm’s giveback partnership with the Wounded Warrior Project.

“I know we aren’t just working to deliver great promo solutions to our customers, but also for a greater good,” Mullaney said.

Based on reported 2022 North American promotional product revenue of $113 million, SnugZ USA ranked 15th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
