London, Ontario-based Talbot Marketing (asi/341500) announced that it has finalized a deal to acquire fellow Canadian distributor AA Advertising Ltd. (asi/100330). Financial terms of the transaction were not revealed. AA is a Richmond, British Columbia, company that has a large customer base in the lower mainland of British Columbia, according the Talbot.

“We are extremely pleased with this acquisition,” said Steve Levschuk, president of Talbot. “George Montgomery and his staff will make an immediate impact on the company. All sales professionals at AA Advertising have a large and loyal customer following that we will transition over to Talbot Marketing.”

AA Advertising, which was founded in 1968 by John Montgomery, also has customer accounts throughout Canada and the U.S. “All of us are excited about our new relationship with Talbot,” said George Montgomery. They have a long and successful history of supporting sales professionals in this industry. Their commitment to technology will assist us in looking after and growing our customer base.”

Talbot, which has been a perennial member of Counselor’s Best Places to Work list, has 140 salespeople operating from coast to coast in Canada.
