Chameleon like Inc. (asi/44558), a Gilroy, CA-based promotional products supplier that specializes in journals, portfolios and more, announced this week that it has launched a new brand/service that’s focused on custom packaging and gift boxes.

Called PACKED by Chameleon like, the offering includes a broad selection of boxes and portfolios in more than 200 stock styles. Made in the U.S.A. from recycled materials, the boxes and portfolios are complemented by a range of options for fillers, including custom trays, foams and more. In an announcement about the service, Chameleon like said it can provide an array of imprinting options, such as full bleeds, four-color process, deboss and metallic foil imprints.

Additionally, the supplier noted that most orders can be turned around in four to seven days, with assembly, supplied product fulfillment and drop ship services out of a facility in Houston.

Chameleon like said that PACKED is the outgrowth of its acquisition of The Platform Gallery Group, a Houston-based company that specialized in custom packaging and gift boxes. After making the acquisition last summer, Chameleon like says it worked hard “to bring the line up to date, simplified and expanded our offering, and invested in state-of-the-art digital equipment to better service our clients. Finally, we decided to market this new line under a new name and identity: PACKED.”
