Gemline Expands Gourmet Expressions Food Gift Line

There are two new brand partners and 25 new food gifts.

Make it 19.

That’s how many artisanal food brands are part of Top 40 supplier Gemline’s (asi/56070) Gourmet Expressions line, now that two new partner brands have signed on.

The latest additions are women-founded Lush Wine Mix, which specializes in organic mixers, and Taza Chocolate, makers of stone-ground fair-trade chocolate.

Gemline now offers products like the Cheers To You Lush Spiced Wine Mix from Lush Wine Mix, and the MiiR Cup of Java Gourmet Pairing Gift Set from Taza Chocolate.

Gemline also says it has expanded the Gourmet Expressions collection to include 25 new food gifts.

“With experiential gift-giving showing record demand, our Gourmet Expressions business has really taken off,” said Gemline President Frank Carpenito. “With our newly expanded product offering and roster of exceptional brand partners, we are able to provide our distributors more choices, while continuing to offer an easy way for their customers to deliver a branded experience and create a memorable impact.”

Lawrence, MA-based Gemline introduced the Gourmet Expressions line in 2018. Sales from the collection have accelerated each year since. In 2021, Gemline increased its Gourmet Expressions inventory and production capacity to meet anticipated strong demand during the holiday season.

Executives at the Top 40 firm, Counselor’s 2021 Supplier of the Year, noted that six of the brand partners in the Gourmet Expressions line have female founders.

In addition to Lush Wine Mix, those brands include Lark Fine Foods (cookies and savory biscuits), 88 Acres (nutritious seed bars), Effie’s Homemade (old-fashioned oat cakes), J&M (premium baked goods) and East Shore Specialty Foods (sweet and tangy mustard and seasoned pretzels).
