Delta Apparel Reports Full-Year Sales Increase
The Top 40 supplier said the results are preliminary, but indications are revenue was up 11% year over year.
Delta Apparel (asi/49172), a Top 40 promotional products supplier, says preliminary results show that the Duluth, GA-based company increased total sales 11% to $484 million during its 2022 fiscal year, which concluded Oct. 1.
Full financial results, which will include details on earnings, operating income and more, will be released at a to-be-determined date later this year.
Still, the early word is that Delta Apparel increased sales in all five of its go-to-market channels.
Those include Delta Direct, a business division that services clients such as promotional products companies/screen printers, e-retailers and retail licensers. Promo-specific sales weren’t broken out. Sales also reportedly rose in the firm’s DTG2Go segment, which provides on-demand, direct-to-garment digital print and fulfillment services.
The anticipated overall 11% increase in sales came despite fiscal fourth quarter revenue remaining roughly flat with the prior year Q4’s performance. Sales over the three-month period tallied approximately $115 million, the company said.
“In what remained a dynamic and highly fluid macroeconomic environment throughout our fiscal year, we are extremely pleased with our performance across all five of our go-to-market channels,” said Robert W. Humphreys, chairman/CEO of Delta Apparel. “Our teams successfully navigated many obstacles during the year.”
Based on estimated 2021 North American promo product revenue of $46.7 million, Delta Apparel ranked 34th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
