Underground Printing Continues Midwest Expansion With New Location in Columbus, OH
It’s the distributor/decorator’s third location in the Buckeye State.
Underground Printing (asi/384804) is expanding again.
The Michigan-headquartered provider of custom printed apparel, accessories and promotional products has opened a new storefront in Columbus, OH, centrally located at 765 N. High Street by the Short North Arts District and Italian Village.
The move comes several months after Underground Printing opened a store in Campustown near the heart of Champaign, IL, a move announced in June.
Beyond Michigan, Illinois and Ohio, Underground Printing now has locations in Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
The move into the new digs in Columbus comes about a year-and-a-half after Underground Printing relocated to a 172,000-square-foot headquarters and production facility in Washtenaw County, MI.
As for the Columbus location, Underground Printing said its focus will be on working with local businesses, community members, organizations and student groups, among others. It’s the firm’s third location in Ohio, with sister stores in Toledo and Cincinnati.
“We’re thrilled to be expanding in Ohio with our new Columbus location,” said Rishi Narayan, co-founder and chief revenue officer. “Columbus has an amazing university and business community, and we truly couldn't ask for a better location as we continue to expand our retail footprint throughout the greater Midwest. We look forward to immersing ourselves in the local community and supporting all of their custom-printing needs.”
Underground Printing offers services including screen printing, digital printing and embroidery on a variety of apparel and promotional products to groups, businesses and organizations of all sizes. The 20-plus-year-old company has made the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies nine times.
