DEMDACO Recalls Infant Bib and Booties
Kansas-based DEMDACO, in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is recalling about 1,500 Story Time infant bib and bootie sets due to a choking hazard. The CPSC says the rattles sewn into the booties can detach. The sets, which were made in China, were sold between June and August of this year under the brand name Nat & Jules. No injuries have been reported and no ASI-listed firms were named in the recall.
According to the CPSC, the multicolored pastel sets were sold in six different child themes and have the following serial numbers: 5004700491, 5004700492, 5004700493, 5004700494, 5004700495 and 5004700496. The serial number can be found on the side of the bib. The items were sold through various retailers for about $25 each.
Officials are asking consumers to immediately stop using the recalled bib sets, take them away from children and return them to any store that sells DEMDACO’s products for a full refund.
