Gemline Partners With W&P
The Top 40 supplier is teaming up with the New York-based brand, which creates stylish products for the kitchen and beyond.
Top 40 supplier Gemline (asi/56070) said Tuesday that it will be the exclusive supplier of W&P products to the promotional products industry. W&P is a New York-based brand that creates kitchen, gift and lifestyle products that have a stylishly unique flair, executives said.
“With innovative designs providing a fresh perspective in food and drink, W&P is the perfect complement to Gemline’s product portfolio,” said Gemline CEO Jonathan Isaacson. “The W&P brand enables us to provide more branding opportunities than ever before. We are excited about this new partnership and are confident that our customers will share our enthusiasm.”
Debuting in September 2019, Gemline’s early offerings from W&P will include selections from the brand’s kitchen and bar giftware collections. Isaacson noted that Gemline has already debuted a small selection of W&P products, including a popcorn popper and cocktail syrup, in pairings with the supplier’s Gourmet Expressions by Gemline line.
“W&P has driven great success over the years collaborating with corporate and promotional partners to connect our products with brands for gifting, value-add, incentives, and events. We are thrilled to partner with Gemline to scale and diversify our reach into the promotional channel,” said Ryan Kelly, president of W&P.
Josh Williams and Eric Plum founded W&P in 2012 when they launched their first product – The Mason Shaker. “We believe that every interaction with food and drink is an opportunity for creativity and community,” they say in a joint statement about W&P. “Our thoughtfully designed products offer both stylish and functional improvements to everyday tools, enhancing daily meals and cooking.”
With reported 2018 North American promotional product revenue of $104 million, Gemline ranked 15th on Counselor’s latest list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
