4imprint Makes PEOPLE Companies That Care List
The Top 40 distributor was the only promo firm to appear in the prestigious rankings, which include household name companies like Target, Cisco, Salesforce, Bank of America, Hilton and American Express.
4imprint (asi/197045), the second-largest distributor in the promotional products industry, was one of just 100 businesses to earn a spot on the PEOPLE Companies That Care list, which recognizes firms across the United States that do an exceptionally good job of developing cultures of caring for employees, communities and the environment.
4imprint was the only promo business to make the list, ranking 94th overall. The list includes a raft of household name companies, such as Target, Cisco, Salesforce, Bank of America, Hilton and American Express.
To compile the rankings on behalf of PEOPLE, Great Place to Work – a global authority on workplace culture – gathered and analyzed more than 1 million confidential survey responses and data from companies representing more than 6.1 million U.S. employees at Great Place to Work-certified organizations.
Company rankings were derived from 60 employee experience questions within the Great Place to Work Trust Index survey. The questions ask about workplace respect, innovation, communication, engagement and more.
This is the second time in a row 4imprint has been named to PEOPLE’s list.
“To earn a second nomination to PEOPLE Companies That Care is an honor we would not be able to enjoy without each person on our staff,” said 4imprint CEO Kevin Lyons-Tarr, a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of the promo industry’s most influential people. “Our team continues to create a culture of respect and fairness, and that makes a real difference.”
In recognizing 4imprint, PEOPLE called attention to the company’s one by one charitable program, which typically provides three $500 grants each business day to charities. “This can add up,” PEOPLE noted. “More than 600 organizations in the United States and Canada received 4imprint one by one grants during the second quarter of 2022. Beneficiaries included Hospice of Lake Cumberland and Brother Wolf Animal Rescue.”
While headquartered in London, U.K., 4imprint’s main operations are in Oshkosh, WI. The company, which operates an e-commerce business model, generates the vast majority of its sales in North America. Based on reported 2021 North American promo product revenue of $773.7 million, 4imprint ranked second on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry.
During the first six months of 2022, 4imprint increased revenue 58% compared to the same period the prior year, tallying total global sales of $515.54 million, according to a company financial report released Wednesday, Aug. 10. 4imprint’s North American sales were $505.86 million, a year-over-year leap of 57%.
