Welcoming Fall With Treats & Promo Tricks
ASI Media talks about Halloween creep, favorite candies and costumes, and marketing tips for taking advantage of the changing season.
Officially, it’s still summer for at least a few more weeks. Unofficially, however, retailers have moved on to Halloween and all things fall. Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte is on the menu, and Home Depot’s 12-foot-tall skeleton is already out of stock online for spooky season.
In this episode of Promo Insiders, ASI Media editors Theresa Hegel and Sara Lavenduski are joined by intern Siena Christopherson to talk about their favorite Halloween candies and most memorable costumes, and to share a few tips on how promotional products pros can leverage the fall season to their advantage.
Consider, Lavenduski says, customizing some small pumpkins and giving them to clients as a cute and seasonal thank-you after meetings. “I’m a big fan of self-promo and leave-behinds for sales reps and distributors,” she says.
Or you could lean into seasonal scents with custom scratch-and-sniff stickers, scented coasters or other similar goodies. Think about apple cider, cinnamon or even the controversial pumpkin spice to help usher in an autumn vibe.
