After a second round of reader and staff voting, our grand champion #Counselor70 cover has been crowned.

“Power Pills for the Video Market” from October 1982 – which featured cover lines interspersed on a Pac-Man maze complete with nefarious ghosts – edged out the competition for its clever design and ‘80s arcade nostalgia. The cover story for the issue focused on the burgeoning U.S. video game market and growing opportunities for distributors.
