Decorating Roundup: Epson Releases New Dye-Sublimation Printers

Also, Arcus Printers has launched a soft-touch direct-to-film transfer adhesive powder, and Stahls’ has added two Master Distributors to its lineup.

Epson has introduced two new 64-inch dye-sublimation printers to its SureColor F-Series line: the SureColor F9570 and the SureColor F9570H.

The SureColor F9570 from Epson

The printers feature a space-saving design for improved usability and easier installation, an expanded ink set and the ability to produce high-quality images on textiles and hard goods such as promotional products and photo panels, according to the company.

Replacing the SureColor F9470 and F9470H, the new models are purpose built for round-the-clock productivity, allowing print shops to deliver high-quality sellable goods. The new models offer advanced dye-sublimation transfer printing for sports apparel and fashion, home décor, promotional and personalized products, and soft signage markets.

“Print service providers are looking for versatile and productive dye-sublimation printers that will deliver quality work for their clients and help them gain a competitive edge,” said Lily Hunter, product manager, Professional Imaging, Epson America. “These new SureColor F-Series printers deliver high-speed production without sacrificing high-quality results, allowing businesses to boost performance.”

Arcus Printers Unveils Direct-to-Film Soft Touch Powder

Arcus Soft Touch Powder from Arcus Printers

Arcus Printers, part of Axiom America, has released Arcus Soft Touch Powder, a high-performance adhesive powder to help create high-quality direct-to-film (DTF) prints on a variety of materials.

While traditional DTF adhesive powders often leave a “plastic” feel once the transfer is cured, Arcus said its new powder has a “soft and natural texture, mimicking the look and feel of screen printing.” Made in the USA from OEKO-TEX-certified materials, the powder enables imprints that flex and stretch with the wearer’s movements without cracking. Plus, the particle size minimizes dust, providing a cleaner and safer work environment for decorators.

“Our new Arcus Soft Touch Powder addresses key issues faced by decorators, offering a superior printing experience with its enhanced stretchability, soft hand feel and low-dust formulation,” said Brian Belk, managing director at Axiom America, parent company of Arcus Printers.

Stahls’ (asi/88984) has added Miami Screen Print Supply and WooHoo SPS-Screen Print Supplies as the newest Master Distributors for CAD-CUT HTV and Hotronix heat presses, bringing the total number to 11 nationwide.

The St. Clair Shores, MI-based supplier of heat-printing technology and heat transfers said it partners with Master Distributors to give apparel decorators across the United States faster access to materials, equipment and accessories.

Miami Screen Print Supply was founded in 2006 by Kevin Fleury, who has over 35 years of experience in screen printing. The company’s mission is “to be the leading supplier of the finest quality screen-printing products worldwide through innovation, efficiency and flawless customer care.”

WooHoo SPS-Screen Print Supplies said it’s excited to add Stahls’ heat-printing products to its inventory of plastisol inks, adhesives, emulsions and equipment.

“One of our most important aspects of our company is partnering with quality organizations and individuals that work as a collaborative team to ensure our customer success while using quality products,” said Barry Cundiff, owner of WooHoo SPS.
