Roland DGA, a provider of wide-format inkjet printers, vinyl cutters and other decorating equipment, announces North American availability of its new VersaOBJECT CO-i series printers. These UV-LED flatbed inkjet printers are capable of printing directly onto substrates and objects up to 9.5 inches high that weigh up to 640 pounds.

“Our new CO-i Series UV flatbeds provide a versatile solution to meet the increasing demand for individualized, rapid, on-demand printing,” said Jay Roberts, UV printer product manager. “They offer shorter production times, reduced costs and lower environmental impact while expanding product decoration possibilities, enabling users to maximize their creative options and grow their businesses.” 

Customers can choose from two available CO-i Series models – the 30-inch CO-300i-F2 and the 64-inch CO-640i-F3 – to meet their needs. Both models enable users to direct-print vibrant, detailed graphics and text onto a range of materials and three-dimensional items, including those with curved or uneven surfaces.

Each model features a touch panel that’s integrated into the printer’s ergonomically designed table, eliminating the need for a separate control tower and allowing for efficient production in print environments with limited workspace.

EasyCut Studio Launches New Version of Its Vinyl Cutting Software

EasyCut Studio has launched Easy Cut Studio 6, a fully updated and next-generation version of its vinyl cutting software.

The new version introduces a range of features, including a larger workspace area, variable data printing and cutting, import of embroidery files, more options to customize rhinestone designs, new special effects, the ability to convert square corners to rounded ones, nesting improvements and more. The update also includes more than 15 new print and cut drivers for the latest printers and vinyl cutters.
