Allmade Apparel (asi/34341) is on the hunt for apparel decorators and consumers ready to showcase their commitment to sustainability.
The ethically and environmentally conscious blank-apparel supplier with an exclusive partnership with Counselor Top 40 supplier SanMar (asi/84863) has launched an “Our Power, Our Planet” Earth Day video contest, with the winner receiving an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Honduras to see firsthand how Allmade’s T-shirts are produced.
The supplier designs its shirts using organic cotton, recycled cotton, modal and recycled polyester (with each shirt repurposing 6 to 13 plastic bottles). Additionally, the company says it offsets emissions from production to end-use through Carbonfund.
“At Allmade, we believe sustainability is more than a trend – it’s a daily commitment,” said Ryan Moor, CEO of Allmade and Counselor’s 2020 Supplier Entrepreneur of the Year. “This contest is a chance for consumers and creators to share how they make a difference, inspire others and win an unforgettable experience.”
To enter the contest, participants have until April 20 to create and share a short video on Instagram or TikTok demonstrating their dedication to sustainability – whether it’s showcasing a community cleanup, eco-friendly business practices or an inspiring story. Videos must be between 15 and 90 seconds long, tag @allmadeapparel and use the #EarthDayWithAllmade hashtag. Entries will be reshared by the Allmade team, and a panel of judges will select their favorite. Winners will be announced on Earth Day, April 22.
Based in the Pacific Northwest, Allmade was founded in 2017 by a group of screen printers looking to make ethically conscious and sustainable apparel that was also tailor-made for decoration. The brand notes that its T-shirts use less water to create than conventional ones and that its entire apparel line is now carbon neutral, thanks to calculating and offsetting its carbon emissions through carbonfund.org and using solar-powered facilities. In 2020, the company joined with SanMar, which became the exclusive supplier of the brand.
