CPSC Recalls Sock and Wrist Rattle Sets
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued an official recall for children’s sock and wristband rattle sets. Rattles inside the baby socks and wristband can detach, posing a choking hazard.
The London Bridge-branded sets were manufactured in China and imported by Atlanta-based Maison Chic. The sets were sold in various designs, including strawberries, lady bugs, unicorns, cars and sports themes. The front of the hangtag on each set says “London Bridge” and “Baby Wrist Rattle and Rattle Sock Set 0-6 months,” while the back reads “Batch #608315,” with a date code of October 2018 and one of the following item numbers: LB5000, LB5001, LB5002, LB5003, LB5004, LB5005, LB5006 or LB5007.
So far, London Bridge has received one report of the rattle detaching. No injuries have been reported.

Approximately 7,500 pieces are under official recall. The sets were sold at independent boutique stores between January 2019 and May 2019 for about $7 each.
“Consumers should immediately stop using the sock and rattle sets, take them away from children and return them to the store where they were purchased or contact London Bridge to receive a full refund,” said the CPSC in a statement.
London Bridge can be contacted at (800) 653-5048 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET Monday through Friday or by email at support@maisonchiconline.com. More information is available at www.maisonchiconline.com and at Maison Chic’s official recall announcement here.
