Roland DGA Unveils New Fluorescent Ink

Roland DGA Corporation (asi/18201) now offers new fluorescent ink formulated specifically for its Texart XT-640 and RT-640 wide-format dye-sublimation printers. The ink, available in Fluorescent Pink (Fp) and Fluorescent Yellow (Fy), can be combined with Texart process ink colors to create a variety of hues and tones.

“The addition of new fluorescent dye-sublimation inks to Roland’s Texart lineup will expand the creative options for customers within the rapidly growing field of textile decoration,” said Lily Hunter, product manager of textiles and consumables for Roland DGA, in a statement. “These eye-catching inks are bold, vibrant and tailor-made for one-off and small-lot production of sports and fashion apparel. They’re also great when used as accents for soft signage applications.”

The inks will be offered in a CMYKOrViFpFy configuration, and will be available to consumers in North and South America starting in late July 2016.

Roland DG, parent company of Roland DGA, is currently exhibiting a variety of textiles printed with the new fluorescent ink at the drupa 2016 tradeshow in Dusseldorf, Germany, now through June 10.

Roland DGA’s Texart printers, developed for dye-sublimation transfer printing, provide print on performance apparel, soft signage, décor, promotional products and more. For more information, visit www.rolanddga.com.
