Q: Who in the business world do you admire most or strive to emulate?
PO: I admire Rachel Hollis, author of Girl, Wash Your Face and Girl, Stop Apologizing. She’s inspired millions of people to live their best lives.

Q: If Hollywood made a movie about your life, what would it be about and what actor would play you?
PO: It would be called Year of the Concert about my travels to see my favorite bands. I’d want Blake Lively to be cast as me – I’d be honored if she took the role!

Q: What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
PO: 90% of what bothers other people is NOT about you; 90% of what bothers you about other people IS about you.

Q: What’s one thing you’d do to improve the industry?
PO: I think it’s a pretty well-oiled machine already. It’d be great to see more frequent trade shows, even if they were smaller and more regional. Also, in the wake of coronavirus-induced supply chain disruptions, it’s become obvious that we need suppliers to carry more USA-produced items.

Q: What’s on your business and personal bucket list?
PO: Business: I’d love to go back to school to get a master’s degree. Personal: Camping and kayaking at Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada.

Q: What’s one sentence you’d like to hear from your boss?
PO: If he said, “We’re building a new location and you’re going to have your own office with a door and a window,” I’d be over the moon.

Q: If you could choose an age to remain forever, which would you choose?
PO: I’d love to stay in my late 30s forever. I worry a lot less about what others think of me than I did at younger ages, and I have the tenacity to go out and do a lot of things right now – I don’t want to slow down.

Q: What would you do with your 15 minutes of fame?
PO: I’d love to put together a music festival with a legendary lineup that people would talk about for decades – like the original Woodstock!
