Arcus Printers has released the Monarch UV DTF printer.

“Our new Monarch UV DTF printer opens up exciting possibilities for apparel decorators,” said Brian Belk, managing director at Axiom America, parent company of Arcus. “UV DTF printing allows you to print high-contrast designs on nearly any nonporous surface, including glass, plastics, metal and more – perfect if your shop offers awards or other promo products. This innovative technology allows decorators to expand their product offerings and enhance their business capabilities.”

The printer features three Epson printheads, high-speed production printing at 70 square feet per hour, a built-in water chiller to ensure consistent UV light curing, a streamlined all-in-one printing process the eliminates the need for additional steps like lamination, and a white-ink system that has recirculation with ink tank agitation for consistent performance. The printer also comes with CADLink Digital Factory Direct to Film RIP software and a one-year warranty.

Vastex Releases New Return-Belt Conveyor Dryer

The Vastex Return-Belt Conveyor Dryer is designed to increase productivity and save space for apparel decorators.

Vastex International has released a new Return-Belt Conveyor Dryer, which returns cured garments to the front of the dryer to increase productivity and save space, according to the company.

“The optional return conveyor eliminates repeated trips between the infeed and discharge ends of the dryer, while cooling cured garments for immediate folding and packaging,” said Mark Vasilantone, Vastex president. “The return belt also allows shops with limited space to position the rear of the dryer close to a wall without the need for a rear catch bin, while shops with two presses can print the front of garments with one press, and the back with the second press as garments come off the dryer.”

Available on new LittleRed and EconoRed dryers, the return belt can also be added as a retrofit to many existing dryers. As with all Vastex conveyor dryers, both belts can be lengthened to serve multiple printers and/or to accommodate additional modular heating chambers.
