The Book Company Partners With Shinola
The Book Company (asi/41010) has announced an exclusive partnership with Shinola, a Detroit-based, luxury lifestyle brand. Shinola’s line of American-made journals became available to the promotional product industry on October 1.
Since 2012, major retailers have offered Shinola products along with the company opening its own retail stores in the U.S. and around the world. “At retail, Shinola products have a large, loyal group of followers that are sure to be excited to have access to Shinola journals from promotional products distributors,” Missy Kilpatrick, vice president of The Book Company, said in a press release. “We are thrilled that Shinola chose The Book Company to represent their well-respected brand in our industry.”
Shinola produces linen-covered journals in a wide variety of sizes and fashion colors. All of the journals feature Smyth sewn binding, a technique that improves overall durability and extends the lifespan of the journal, enabling the pages to lie flat. The journals are made entirely from U.S.-sourced components including acid-free paper from sustainably managed American forests. The Book Company allows Shinola journals to be branded with a logo in silver, gold, or black foil. Full color promo pages and custom belly bands wraps are also available at only 25 copies minimum.
The Book Company offers wholesale pricing and unique customization options for more than 3 million currently published books from more than 100 leading publishing houses. The company also designs and produces custom journals that are available from 200-1,000 minimums respectively.
